Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31-32

Lord, may I learn to forgive and let go. There are things and people in my life and I hold heavily and grudgingly in my heart. Things that have happened in my childhood to those recently. No matter how silly or serious their or my reasons are, may I let go. Because you have changed and purified my heart, You have given me a desire to be more like you in love and forgiveness. Let all that has passed be the past. May I no longer look at these people or events with a certain disdain or hatred, but rather look on them in forgiveness and love, yet with caution and wisdom. It doesn’t mean I will forget, but at least I will have forgiven. Amen.
